Job Description:
We are interested in recruiting a competent, polite, and well organized Receptionist / Reservations Agent who would ensure the front office's effective and smooth day to day operation. Main duties are reservations, check-in and check-outs, and concierge services. There will be strong emphasis on refined guest services resulting in a professional and comfortable work place. Daily activities and responsibilities will require the following:
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be able to communicate fluently in Greek and English (written and spoken)
- Be computer literate: Windows and Microsoft Office, especially Outlook
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have a degree in the tourism industry
- Knowledge of a second foreign language
- Previous experience with hotel information systems
- Previous experience in similar position
PERSONAL SKILLS and QUALITIES:
- Organizing, responsible, stamina, and problem solving
- Presentable, smart, and courteous
- Being able to adapt to varying clientele and to work under pressure
Constant interaction with guests will necessitate the assistant to be well-mannered, well-presented and helpful, and to have an excellent command of the English spoken and written language.
The agent reports directly to the Hotel Manager.
